So Girly

Twirling! Such a fun and girly skirt. It was another nice day so I decided to throw on a skirt and light shirt...it was a good decision. Again I am wearing American Apparel, recently I feel like a walking ad. The skirt and bow are both from American Apparel, and the shirt and flats are from Urban Outfitters.
I wore some colorful eye shadow today, pink. Its from my Sephora makeup palette, which was an awesome buy.
Now I just have a ton of projects to do, so no fun there. Sigh, hopefully tomorrow is just as pretty! :3

Straight Hair and 3D Sweater=Win

I loved the weather today! It was a beautiful day and I I love this sweater and haven't had a chance to wear it.    And I have a plethora of pictures today, mostly because my hair is straight and I felt like a photo opp. Hahaha.
And on a more serious note, my sweater is from American Apparel and as a struggling college student the only way I was able to afford it was because of the factory outlet sale. I LOVE this sweater too (if I havent't already said this)!I went out later today and wore this same outfit with some black tights, it was really comfortable. Today was a good day. :3

I am Your...Sweater!

Sweater: H&M
Shorts: American Eagle
Boots: Coach
Tights: Forever 21
So it was a slow day and I decided to wear one of my favorite sweaters. I really just want to sit down and watch star wars all day but I have other things to do and I just...ugh...Well not many pictures of the actual outfit because had to take the pictures myself. Wish you could see my earrings in this picture, I really like them. So long! :3

Plaid Plaid Plaid

Everyone has to have a mug shot...
...then a smiling picture of course
oh you don't say?

I got this plaid coat at a Good Will and have been dying for a chance to wear it. When I put it on I did not realize that I was also wearing a plaid headband, but I thought what the heck! You can never go wrong with plaid! I wore this when my friends and I went to Abbo's Pizza and a little gelato place in LA. It was a stressful day but it was great to unwind with pizza, friends, and gelato, and of course a classic like plaid will never let a girl down (actually I saw a plaid skirt today that was not so classic :/). I just hope tomorrow is a better. :3 Quaint and hopeful.

Really Late Halloween

The tutu the longest to make, almost 3 days of working. Not consistently but for quite a while.
The Black Swan and Me. We so crazy together.
We decided to play around and take a "ballerina" picture. Too bad we are not really as graceful as reall ballerinas.

Sooooo, since I didn't start this blog till after Halloween I am putting up picture of my costume now. I went as the White Swan from "Black Swan" starring Natalie Portman, and my friend went as the black swan. Our costumes are completely made my hand with only a glue gun. We didn't have a sewing machine so making our tutus took MUCH longer than we expected. But I feel that it was totally worth it!I started with only fabric, stockings, and a tank top.

A lot of people commented on how cute or pretty our costumes were so I felt my slave labor was completely justified. I hope you like the costume. :3

First Day of Falling Down the Rabbit Hole

I love these earrings! I just have to be careful because I already ripped out two strings.
Full body shot. Love this sweater. I now have a sweater with color in my wardrobe.
Smiles :3
Hi,  my name is Lauren and I am studying global relations in college. I wanted to start this blog to have a place to vent and discuss the latest fashion trends. I chose the title "Quaint Girl Falls Down the Rabbit Hole" because quaint means "having an old-fashioned charm or being strange/unusual in an interesting" and I feel that fashion is a way to express your quaint side (plus I am quite strange). And "Down the Rabbit Hole" is from my favorite book Alice in Wonderland, and sometimes don't you feel "that it would be nice if something made sense for a change" (Lewis Caroll).  I'm sorry that I rambling, but I am quite excited to start this fashion blog. Hope you all enjoy!
